Workshop 1: Location Services w/ HERE Technologies – Introduction Session

In this first webinar of a 5 webinar series between IBM and HERE Technologies (12 Nov – 5 Dec), we will have an introductory session to HERE Technologies’ suite of location APIs and SDKs and how they can be used with IBM and other technologies to develop cool and useful applications.

In this webinar we will also use HERE JavaScript and RESTful APIs to develop a parcel delivery application from scratch. We will explain how developers can use interactive customizable maps alongside HERE’s geocoding and routing APIs and live traffic data for a delivery vehicle to optimize its delivery schedule.

You will learn how to provide realistic ETAs to the driver and couple that with human-readable instructions to deliver the parcels to their rightful owners.
